Driving Social Impact through the power of Storytelling

With an authentic approach, we produce purpose driven content utilizing the power of storytelling to drive social impact, showcasing the transformative power of content to change perceptions and make a difference in our communities around the world.

The only way we change perception is if we change the conversation and the only way that happens is if we have greater representation. It is honestly, that simple. So, while TFA Group is small – we are mighty and we are passion driven because we all deserve to see a path forward

Mallory and Jay (Co-CEO’s) took to their two passions – sports and production - and created an agency and production studio with a simple but ambitious goal:to change the perception of disability in our society through the power of storytelling.

From the release of Mallory’s book LIMITLESS in March 2021, to managing the brands of a number of Paralympic athletes, to creating branded content and commercials for companies and helping them authentically incorporate stories of individuals with disabilities, to award winning original content, we continue to seek out projects and characters that will help showcase the power of sport to change perception.

To date the creations of TFA Group can be found in bookstores, on broadcast networks, streaming giants, digital platforms, at film festivals and in brand campaigns - but there’s still so much more to do.

After all, Mallory knows that stakes couldn’t be higher.“When I was paralyzed I didn’t see a path forward, I looked to a world around me that I didn’t feel represented in - and we all deserve to be seen. It is my greatest desire, whether through my swimming, speaking, writing or role as an executive producer and content creator to do my part to make sure our next generation never has to ask, ‘what about me?’”

IMPACT FILMS

WATERSHED

WATERSHED chronicles the story of Mallory Weggemann, who was paralyzed at the age of 18 and found refuge in the pool as a swimmer. Having won five Paralympic medals, Weggemann is now not only looking to reclaim her spot on the podium, but she’s trying to become a mother as well.

In WATERSHED, which was self-documented by Weggemann and her husband Jay Snyder, Weggemann trains for the Tokyo Paralympics during COVID-19 and battles an additional injury to her arm, putting her career in question. Against the backdrop of these crossroads, the couple bravely share their struggles with infertility, the importance of IVF, and their journey to start a family.

In this deeply personal and inspiring film, Weggemann reminds us that trauma and tragedy not only change how we are perceived by society, but how we perceive ourselves. And that if we’re brave enough, we too can write our own ending.

Through Justin’s narration, viewers will be drawn into his mindset as he navigates through his own physical, mental and emotional barriers, only to find the strength within to push past any “boulders” that have been put in front of him.
